Police Sidestand for R1100RT

The sidestand for the police BMW, the R1100RT-P is different than that standard R1100RT sidestand. It is the standard RT sidestand, but has been revised for BMW of North America. Any rider can order the police sidestand through his BMW dealer. There are two versions. One, such as the one above, includes the longer tong for lowering the stand and also includes a larger foot. The other includes a lock-down feature, which holds the sidestand down until it is intentionally raised by the rider. Either sidestand represents an improvement over the stock sidestand.

Locking sidestand mount:        99 00 0 001 059

The locking mount is optional.
